About this event
Plant the right tree in the right place this fall!
Join ISA Certified Arborist, Emma Conrad, for an engaging walk through the Gardens as you explore the best practices when it comes to planting trees. Along the way, we can explore why trees planted in cities and urban environments tend to live just a short 7-15 years. In this course, we will cover: 1. What to look for when choosing a location to plant 2. How to select the type of tree to plant 3. How to plant the tree properly
This class will take place outdoors so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. If there is inclement weather, the class may be rescheduled or moved to an indoor location. You will be notified by email of any changes. This class is intended for ages 16+, all minors must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Registration is required; space is limited! This class is non-refundable. If you aren't able to make it and would like to share your registration with a friend, please contact Wellfield at (574) 266-2006 ext. 105 to let us know!
