The Open Session is based on Jazz Standards - Straight-Ahead Jazz. Listen. Play. Discuss. It's a Learning Environment. Bring your Instrument, your Ears, your Friends.

• 5:00 - 6:00 PM: Meet & Greet with Jay Metcalf • Chat with Jay, snap photos, and check out the instruments and accessories.

• 6:00 - 6:30 PM: Welcome & Gear Talk

• 6:30 - 7:30 PM: Clinic Session with Jay • From beginners to advanced players.

• Learn practical ways to learn jazz standards.

• 7:30 - 8:00 PM: Performance by Jay and The Merrimans' Play-House Players Rhythm Section

• 8:00 - 9:30 PM: Open Jam Session
