Christmas at Copshaholm

About this event

Christmas at Copshaholm is back and better than ever!

Offered every December, this open-house event offers the only chance each year for visitors to explore all three floors of the Oliver Mansion on a self-guided tour. With each room decorated for the holidays, this is a yuletide season activity you won’t want to miss!

In the mansion are over 20 unique Christmas trees, each with a different theme. Our Ballroom Christmas tree will be a winter wonderland, with drooping icicles and bundled up carolers ready to serenade, while our Billiard Room will feature a tree decorated to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary.

Additionally, live piano music will accompany the entire event, and Mr. and Mrs. Claus just might be making an appearance for those who would like to take a photo with them. And while exploring the mansion, make sure you’re on the lookout for the “Elf-on-a-Copsha-shelf” hidden on each of the three floors!

Once you’re done in the mansion, return to the Carriage House to participate in holiday activities such as creating Victorian-era tinfoil ornaments, writing letters to Santa, and more! You can even vote on your favorite Christmas tree, and results will be announced online after the event.

Please note that there are steps leading to and inside the mansion. There will be no entrance to the house after 6:30 p.m. $15/general; $10/members; $5/youth 6-17; and free/5 & under. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
