About this event

This time of year we turn our attention to removing species with woody stems. Multiflora Rose, bush honeysuckle, oriental bittersweet, and autumn olive are the big four we’re contending with. Invasive species removal is a great way to get an intimate look at the preserve while helping to ensure that native plants and wildlife can continue to thrive here.

Be prepared to work outside and dress appropriately for the weather. Conditions on the workday may be wet. We will provide all the necessary equipment, gear, light snacks, and water. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle!

Interested? Please RSVP through the website form below.

Please fill out the online Volunteer Application (opens in new tab) prior to attending . We will also have hard copies for you at this volunteer event. Stop by to lend a hand and chat with our staff about other opportunities that can flex your skills and fulfill your interests!
