About this event
A new outdoor group, Lights Off Walking Club, is inviting nature lovers to experience the outdoors in a whole new way.
The club will meet every Tuesday evening in October and November at a different park for a peaceful night hike. Participants will leave their flashlights behind and enjoy the dark, quiet atmosphere of nature after sunset.
Mark your calendars: November 3 – Boot Lake Nature Preserve (7:00-8:00pm) November 10 – River Preserve County Park (7:00-8:00pm) November 17 – Lieber Nature Preserve (7:00-8:00pm) November 24 – River Preserve County Park (7:00-8:00pm)
The walks are designed to slow things down, tune into the sounds of the night, and experience familiar natural spaces from a different perspective. No preregistration required.
No flashlights. Just the night, the trail, and the sounds of nature.
