The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi presented checks totaling $335,000 to 11 local groups including Beacon Children's Hospital (which received $50,000 for medical supplies) to support community services in 2026.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation Board reviewed the Indiana Teacher Appreciation Grant process, awarding $63,920.96 while 30 teachers submitted applications.

The board also updated progress on its new administrative and daycare building (insulation and drywall installation is underway).

Indiana Conservation Officer Jordan Boggs, who served Kosciusko County for 10 years, was named the 2025 District 1 Officer of the Year.

His recognition puts him in line for the state’s top conservation honor among district winners.

Long time administrator who passed away recently from heart attack will be honored this Friday Night. Coach Mike Lightfoot former Head Coach at Bethel will share at half time of the Goshen- Mishawaka boys basketball game. I scholarship fund is being launched in Mr Troyers name for a Mishawaka student to receive to attend Bethel University
