  • Saturday morning, about 1,500 volunteers at Granger Community Church packed and loaded food boxes on trucks to support over 6,000 families — working with local partners including Welch Packaging, Around the Bin Movers, and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.  WNDU

  • Bethel University will host a duo-piano concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at Everest-Rohrer Auditorium, featuring Siwon Kim, Ph.D. and Hyemin Kim, Ph.D. who will perform works by Grieg, Saint-Saëns and Bolcom; admission is free.  InkFreeNews

  • WVPA, an Indianapolis-based electric co, proposed an 18-mile transmission line to connect the Elderberry & Stillwell substations near the St. Joseph Energy Center; the plan will boost power efficiency & spur economic benefits.   • The Indiana Department of Education released 2025 graduation rates showing a state record 92% graduation, with gains at local schools (Plymouth and Washington High Schools).   • Mike Mickens, Notre Dame defensive backs coach credited with strengthening his unit, has joined the Ravens as defensive pass game coordinator & defensive backs coach. He will begin his role as the team gears up for the season.  WNDU
  • Notre Dame women’s basketball lost to Clemson 65-58 at Purcell Pavilion on Sunday as Hidalgo scored 30 points, helping Clemson build a second-half lead; the team will travel to face Cal on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET.  ABC57

  • Notre Dame defensive backs coach Mike Mickens has joined the Baltimore Ravens as their new defensive pass game coordinator, announced on Jan. 25 + he will begin implementing his strategy to boost the team's defense.  WNDU

    Long time administrator who passed away recently from heart attack will be honored this Friday Night. Coach Mike Lightfoot former Head Coach at Bethel will share at half time of the Goshen- Mishawaka boys basketball game. I scholarship fund is being launched in Mr Troyers name for a Mishawaka student to receive to attend Bethel University
