- ➤ The Wawasee 250 committee met on Tuesday, Feb. 17 to plan a semiquincentennial celebration in downtown Syracuse on Sunday, June 28 to mark America’s 250th anniversary and avoid the busy July 4 weekend. The day will feature a church service, car show, food vendors, live entertainment and kids’ bounce houses with Main Street closed for the event. InkFreeNews
- ➤ Special Olympics Indiana invites community members to take the Polar Plunge on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Four Winds Field.
