- ➤ A person fell through ice Wednesday afternoon near Chain O' Lakes and was rescued by the St. Joseph County Fire Territory — officials warn that ice conditions change quickly with recent warm temperatures. WSBT

- ➤ Bethel University will host its fourth annual Festival of Jazz and Jim Pickley Memorial Concert on Saturday, Feb. 21 in Everest-Rohrer Auditorium. The free-to-attend event will feature performances by local high school jazz bands and guest clinicians. InkFreeNews

- ➤ Vince McCoy, a sophomore wrestler from Riley, is set to compete at the IHSAA state finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 20. - ➤ Notre Dame is beginning spring practice in the coming weeks with new transfer wide receivers Mylan Graham and Quincy Porter from Ohio State. The team will host its Blue-Gold Game on Saturday, April 25 at Notre Dame Stadium. WNDU
