CRIME NEWS
- ➤ St. Joseph Medical Center in Plymouth was evacuated Monday evening due to a bomb threat, and nine patients were safely moved (two discharged, six transferred to Mishawaka, one taken to Bremen) before the hospital reopened. 95.3 MNC

- ➤ The Stewart Dance School Fusion Dance Team earned multiple first-place finishes + awards at Dance Makers in Lansing from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, with members receiving national scholarships. - ➤ The House passed Senate Bill 27 on Tuesday, Feb. 24 with a 95+4 vote to create a Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority to search for land and manage finances for a possible Chicago Bears stadium in Hammond; local representatives Ryan Dvorak and Tim Wesco opposed the measure. WSBT
- ➤ The Indiana Office of Energy Development launched a new $1,000,000 grant program on Feb. 24 to boost energy efficiency in local communities.
