Connect 574 has launched a local pizza bracket with eight pizza joints still in the second round — residents may sign up for free and cast their votes until 5 p.m. on Friday each week.

The City of Mishawaka closed Vistula Road between Ballard Avenue and Charles Street on Thursday for utility and right-of-way improvements—motorists are asked to use Lincolnway East during the closure.

Crews will later close Vistula Road between Charles Street and Bittersweet Road as the CSO-20 project continues until work is expected to finish by May 30.
