  • The Mishawaka Fieldhouse opened its new Performance Recovery Lounge yesterday to help athletes recover and train. Local partners Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center and Mind Over Matter Fitness supported the event (former Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book highlighted its benefits) and the facility is available for all fieldhouse users.  WSBT
  • The Potawatomi Zoo opens for the 2026 season on March 28 after a members only preview on March 27. It will offer spring hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May and extended summer hours from 7 p.m. beginning June 1, season events include Zoo Luminate starting April 22.  95.3 MNC

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices across Indiana surged yesterday with regular fuel averaging nearly $3.80 per gallon and even higher in northwest and north-central counties – experts warn the rise may continue due to ongoing international supply issues.  InkFreeNews

  • The University of Notre Dame announced that starting next school year, families earning under $150,000 will pay zero tuition while those with incomes below $200,000 will receive aid covering half of tuition, fees, housing and food — ensuring access for admitted students.  WVPE
  • Hundreds of fifth graders gathered on Wednesday at Mishawaka Fieldhouse for LOGAN Nose-On Disability Awareness Day to learn about accessibility and support for classmates with disabilities.
