- ➤ The Humane Society and county commissioners reached a compromise to keep animal control services running until March 31 despite receiving less funding than requested. Commissioners will vote (Tuesday) on the new contract valued at nearly $915,000. WVPE
- ➤ REAL Services in South Bend unveiled an age-friendly plan on Mar. 27 to boost services for older residents. The plan will be rolled out in stages with additional details to follow. WNDU

- ➤ The Notre Dame wide receivers (the Irish) showed confidence in spring practices as they prepared for the upcoming 2026 season. They plan to rely on returning players and rising stars to boost team performance. WNDU
- ➤ Hannah Hidalgo led Notre Dame to a 67-64 Sweet 16 win over Vanderbilt on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas and advanced the team to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2019. She recorded a 31-point triple-double with 11 rebounds and 10 steals. WNDU
