  • The City of Mishawaka and its police department have prioritized public safety by investing significant budget funds in enhanced resources and updating officer schedules with shifts that last 12 hours to improve staffing and overtime pay.   • Yesterday, Indiana Governor Mike Braun declared a state of disaster emergency in 18 counties—including Marshall—due to flooding, storm and tornado damage.
