ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A man was rescued from an apartment fire in downtown Mishawaka late Saturday night — he was hospitalized after fire crews responded around 11:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Lincolnway East and have not yet determined the cause. WNDU
- ➤ Today at 1:15 p.m. a truck crashed into the building at Canney’s Water Solutions, Inc. on the 1200 block of Mishawaka Avenue and the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is investigating the incident. WNDU
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ After the Indiana House approved the amended Senate Bill 1 that would lower property taxes for homeowners and farmland owners and let towns with over 3,500 residents impose a local income tax, Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith urged Governor Mike Braun to veto the bill. He asked for a special session so lawmakers can pass clearer tax reform before the Senate gives final approval. 95.3 MNC

- ➤ Former Notre Dame quarterback and current Dallas Cowboys cornerback Troy Pride Jr. stopped by to talk about his college years and NFL career (he now plays for the Cowboys).
