  • Bikes for Kids, a nonprofit started by an 11-year-old, is hosting its 5th annual bicycle and helmet giveaway today for second graders at 13 schools in Marshall, Stark and Northern St Joseph counties; students must show a form proving free or reduced lunch eligibility to get a brand new bike and helmet while honor students from Plymouth High School volunteer to help.   • Jennifer Krueger, a 42-year-old South Bend woman with two prior drug convictions, was sentenced to 210 months in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release in U.S. District Court after pleading guilty to possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine—she had been arrested in July 2024 at a Mishawaka hotel with over 50 grams of crystal meth, thousands of fentanyl pills weighing over 400 grams, and more than $58,000 in cash.  95.3 MNC
