  • The City of Mishawaka reminds residents to mow lawns and trim weeds to keep grass below 9 inches this spring and summer to support neighborhood appearance, improve drainage, and protect property values.   • County commissioners held a two-hour public hearing Tuesday regarding the Portage Manor property, where over 40 locals, including educators and ecologists, urged against selling the historic county home to for-profit developers.
