Overnight, mass emails and texts claiming unpaid tolls and appearing to come from hacked state accounts have been sent, and officials say they ended a contract with the company last year but did not remove the account—state agencies will never send toll notices via email or text.

The City of Mishawaka filed a petition with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission to reaffirm its water and sewer service area around the proposed Microsoft Data Center site—using over $140 million invested in water and wastewater projects over the past 20 years—while showing it is ready to support future large-scale developments.
