- ➤ Mishawaka VFW Post 360 will host Memorial Day cemetery services at three local cemeteries (starting at 7 a.m. May 25), while the city's parade launches at 9:30 a.m. May 25 from Main and Third Streets to Battell Park, with the theme Celebrating 250 years of Sacrifice. South Bend Tribune

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Amazon opened its first Think Big STEM lab at New Prairie High School on Monday for hands-on robotics and field trips for younger students. The lab is part of a push to train local students for tech careers (with plans to expand similar programs across Michiana). WVPE
- ➤ Amazon teamed with New Prairie United Schools to open the first Think Big Space at New Prairie High School. Classes rotated (Monday) to offer hands-on access to robotics, computer science, cloud computing and a podcast recording room, and students will later demonstrate projects to families and local leaders. - ➤ Lorraine Sheehan Wilson and Chris Wilson donated $7.5 million to Saint Mary’s College (all-girls school in Notre Dame) to fund need-based scholarships starting with the 2027-2028 academic year and to support its Ring Out True campaign launching in June. Michiana Business News
