- ➤ A construction project began Monday on the south side of Mishawaka Avenue between Longfellow and Emerson Avenues that will add new curbs and sidewalks and cause lane closures on eastbound lanes and the ramp from Eddy Street and State Road 23—phase one is expected to last until early August. - ➤ The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is seeking project proposals from the state’s specialty crop sector to receive $416,350 from the USDA’s Specialty Crop Block Grant Program—applications must be submitted online by June 4.
