Jatonya Pringle, 36, was sentenced to eight years in prison and two years of community corrections for causing a deadly crash last summer—she drove through a red light at Jefferson and Ironwood that killed Forrest Gibbs, 40.

Covenant Christian School in Mishawaka is undergoing a major expansion as it adds new secondary programming for the 2025-2026 school year—enrollment has already begun.

The grade school by Fir and Day Roads will enlarge to start the new program in the fall.

Drivers on U.S. 20 between State Road 39 and Fail Road faced a two-day closure that began on May 28th due to utility work in preparation for long-term road reconstruction; the work has closed the right outside lanes and left turns in the work zone while construction continues through late November.
