- ➤ Cassie, a two-month-old puppy who may have Husky mix traits, is waiting at the South Bend Animal Resource Center for a forever home — volunteers say she is gentle and loves being around people. WSBT
- ➤ Local food events will take place in mid to late June, starting with Food Truck Wednesday on June 18 at Ball Band Biergarten in Mishawaka and Burger Night on June 19 at Galien American Legion Post 344, followed by a Fish Fry and Spaghetti Supper on June 20 in nearby areas. Additional events include Food Truck Friday on June 27 in Mishawaka and a Pancake & Biscuit Breakfast on June 28 at Galien American Legion Post 344 + details may change at the venues. - ➤ The Leeper Park Art Fair returned to South Bend this past weekend—celebrating 58 years as 88 artists showed and sold jewelry, paintings, and ceramics. It opened again on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. WSBT
