  • NIPSCO received approval from the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission to raise electric rates by about $23 per month in steps from July through Q1 2026—down from the originally proposed increase.   • Indiana taxpayers spent over $491,000 on legal fees for Attorney General Todd Rokita's disciplinary cases, paying four law firms for representation in at least six investigations since 2022.
