- ➤ Indiana will soon scan voter rolls for noncitizens using the SAVE data from a revamped federal system after Secretary of State Diego Morales received access on July 7—voters flagged by the system will be mailed a notice requiring them to provide proof of citizenship within 30 days. - ➤ The city council approved a 20-year payment plan for a new $48 million affordable senior housing project off Douglas Road west of Fir Road and set construction to begin soon, with one-bedroom units at $832 per month and two-bedroom units at $1,011. The plan avoids property taxes by requiring annual payments starting at less than $103,000 and rising to $149,000 in the 20th year—an arrangement for residents with fixed incomes. WNDU
