  • Drivers in St. Joseph County faced detours Monday when Ash Road between Jackson Road and Inwood Road was closed for a one-day improvement project — the road reopened as soon as the work was completed.  WSBT

  • Local blood donations are urgently needed as South Bend Medical Foundation faces a summer shortage that affects everyday procedures like heart surgeries and transfusions. The foundation will accept walk-in donations at centers in South Bend and Goshen (with a pint for a pint promotion offering free frozen custard and a reverse drawing for cash prizes) to help save lives.  WVPE
