Slide the Hill is underway at George Wilson Park where people of all ages can enjoy the fourth annual event by sliding on inflatable tubes this weekend until Monday.
Admission costs $7 and if you do not bring your own tube you can purchase one for $8—organizers urge locals to join the fun—making it a playful summer tradition in Mishawaka.
Cultivate Food Rescue teamed up with P-H-M and Amazon all summer to give picnic lunches and frozen meals to local families at Central Park.
The event also featured interactive STEM activities from Amazon’s Think Big Mobile Van — a creative way to reach kids during the summer months.
At The Magical Meadows, participants rocked in chairs for 12 hours to raise funds — the Rockathon reached its goal on Aug.

30, at VFW Post 360 (1307 E. Jefferson Boulevard) to support those who have lost a child to suicide. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the ride will start around 1 p.m.
