GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Portage Township Trustee Jason Critchlow said the state agency will move its offices from the Commerce Center on Colfax to a building on Moreau Court off Nimtz Parkway on Monday and warned that low-income residents will face greater transportation challenges. He offered free downtown office space to help, but the state agency has not accepted the offer—bus rides will drop from up to 20 daily trips to only six.  WVPE
