- ➤ Potawatomi Zoo broke ground on its new Big Cat Tracks project on Aug. 14 at 8:30 a.m.—the project will build a state-of-the-art habitat for Amur tigers and leopards on two acres of land from South Bend. - ➤ Attorney General Todd Rokita escalated investigations into alleged discrimination at Notre Dame and Butler University—after both schools gave insufficient responses to his civil investigative demands regarding DEI practices.
