- ➤ Canelo is a fluffy Siberian Husky mix at the South Bend Animal Resource Center who is waiting for his forever home—he is four years old with a caramel coat and blue eyes and full of puppy energy. The center said he arrived at the facility at the beginning of July following an owner surrender and is looking for a fun family that will let him enjoy the backyard even when it snows. WSBT
- ➤ Dominic Riddle, a 12-year-old from Crumstown, got a drive-by birthday surprise organized after a Facebook post—local motorcyclists and car collectors gathered to show their support on his special day. WNDU
