A deadly shooting during a Catholic school mass at Annunciation Catholic Church and School left the Michiana community heartbroken and led officials to review school safety protocols—supporting the grieving families.

The St. Joseph County Public Library Board denied Bill Sniadecki a seat because it ruled that the spot was already filled—this decision follows months of disputes over a previous appointment and leaves Sniadecki with the option to pursue state legal procedures if he chooses.

He said he will not sue the board, and school board officials noted that any challenge must follow state law.
