  • The Marshall County Blueberry Festival in Plymouth is ongoing today at Centennial Park with free admission, live entertainment on three stages, and carnival rides available via $30 wristbands. Parking is offered at Plymouth High School for $10 per car—helping nearly 500,000 visitors enjoy the longest Labor Day weekend festival in Indiana.  South Bend Tribune

  • Lieutenant Bruce Faltynski of the Mishawaka Police Department was named Officer of the Year 2024 for his strong leadership and commitment to public safety. He runs the Community Relations Unit—organizing neighborhood watch meetings, National Night Out events, and school crossing guard programs to improve community ties.  City of Mishawaka
  • St. Joseph County officials approved an MOU — a framework for local stakeholders including Mishawaka and Granger Water Utility LLC to resolve water and sewer disputes and support a planned Microsoft data center.
