- ➤ One person died in a single-vehicle crash just after midnight near Kern Road — Fir Road in St. Joseph County, and police have not identified the victim while it remains unclear what led to the crash. WNDU
- ➤ A Mishawaka firefighter was injured after falling down stairs while battling a fire at an apartment leasing office near Fairview Cemetery on Jefferson Boulevard early Saturday morning— they were taken to the hospital for treatment. WSBT
