  • The Uncommon Grit Foundation held a charity fundraiser on Monday at Warren Golf Course to raise thousands of dollars for first responders and veterans—its Bone Frog Open event brought big names like Ian Book, Jim McMahon and Robert O’Neill.   • The Indiana GOP Rules Committee reprimanded St. Joseph County GOP Chairwoman Jackie Horvath after reviewing complaints over her support for Dan Schaetzle who broke party rules.   • Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita urged locals on Sept. 12 to report teachers who celebrate or rationalize Charlie Kirk’s killing so his office can list these comments on a government dashboard — experts warn the move risks chilling free speech and could lead to unjust discipline for educators.
