- ➤ In St. Joseph County, a construction project will begin Tuesday at State Road 933/Lincolnway, which will close Lincolnway at the Laurel St intersection between Cedar and Merrifield until late November for sewer, watermain and structure improvements. - ➤ REAL Services warns that the threat of a government shutdown may soon cut funding for services that help families and older adults in St. Joseph and nearby counties—lawmakers are urged to act and residents are asked to share their stories. 95.3 MNC
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Experts warn that headphone-related hearing loss is rising as high decibel levels damage ears, with one in five teens affected and doctors urging users to lower sound levels. Dr. Paul Judge from Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center advised iPhone users to use headphone safety settings to limit volume to 75 decibels for safer listening. WSBT
