- ➤ A new survey by the Afterschool Alliance finds that 5 in 6 Indiana parents cannot access after-school programs for their children due to cost, transportation, and a shortage of options. The study shows that nearly 412,000 children are not enrolled while advocates call for more support from government and local groups to help working families — a change they say is needed to improve safety and learning. - ➤ Mishawaka Utilities is working to restore power in southern Mishawaka near Dragoon Trail, Chandler Avenue, Spring Street and Marian High School.
