- ➤ Karen Deak has been selected as executive director of the IDEA Center at Notre Dame and will lead the center as it rolls out a new strategic reorganization. She served as interim director since September 2024—her experience in patent law and commercialization will help support university research. Michiana Business News
- ➤ A new report shows that teacher pay in Indiana is not keeping up with inflation—average salaries increased about 4% to $63,424 in Fiscal Year 2025 while median wages fell 3% since 2020. - ➤ Holy Cross College President Marco Clark will go to a Catholic college conference in Rome on Wednesday where he will meet Pope Leo in a private audience; his school is the only North American representative at the event. - ➤ Indiana State Police at the Bremen Post shared safety tips to help drivers avoid deer collisions after over 17,000 crashes last year caused injuries and fatalities. - ➤ A rough section of track on Jefferson Boulevard near Chestnut Street in Mishawaka closed Monday for repairs — after drivers reported near-accidents — and remains unavailable.
