- ➤ The University of Notre Dame is launching the Angrick Military Scholars Program in August 2026 with a $15 million gift from Bill and Stephanie Angrick to support military-affiliated MBA students and their families. The program will fund up to 10 scholars at $30,000 per year for relocation, housing, and child care expenses and gives preference to military and Coast Guard veterans with families. - ➤ St. Joseph County Council voted Wednesday night to direct commissioners to submit proposals to reopen Portage Manor, a facility closed for two years that served disabled and mentally ill residents for over 100 years. The resolution paves the way for proposals including St. Thomas More Academy's restoration plan + the council will vote on the best option after future presentations. WNDU
