- ➤ NorthWood High School senior Tatiana Mora was voted the Tribune Student of the Week for Nov. 10 — she was chosen over nominees from Northridge, Mishawaka and LaVille for her strong grades and leadership in sports and academics. South Bend Tribune

- ➤ Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman said his team will focus on today’s challenge against Pitt—he dismissed claims that the game is a trap and stressed that his players will perform with full commitment. WNDU
- ➤ Saint Joe’s head football coach Ben Downey talked with Sabrina Hoover ahead of the regional championship matchup against Hobart—he shared his thoughts on the team's preparations. WNDU
- ➤ Five South Bend area high school teams competed in Friday's IHSAA regional championship games, with Penn facing Fort Wayne Carroll at Freed Field, South Bend St. Joseph meeting Hobart at Father Bly Field, and Concord playing Lafayette Jefferson at Rice Field—none had won a regional crown in many years. The winners advanced to state tournament match-ups after long championship droughts. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ South Bend Saint Joseph won a Class 4A regional title on Friday night when Dallas Downey made a 22‐yard pass to James Criniti—helping a stout defense hold Hobart to 99 yards. The Huskies, now 12-1, will play Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger on Nov. 21 in the semi-state contest as they aim for a state title appearance. South Bend Tribune
