  • On Saturday, North Liberty residents rallied to save the century-old Naragon barn at Potato Creek Park—arguing that its historical value is too important to lose.   • The Potawatomi Zoo will host multiple holiday events later this month—Gift of Lights will run from Nov. 28 through Dec. 28, a Black Friday Membership and Gift Shop Sale will take place on Nov. 28, and a family Crafting with Creatures event will be held on Nov. 29 featuring a zoo ambassador animal.  WNDU

  • Tri Kappa has opened submissions for spring scholarships for college students across Indiana, offering $1,000 academic, key and fine arts awards as well as the Twanette Nutter Fleming Music Award—applications must be in by Feb 6 for the state program.   • Notre Dame President Rev. Robert Dowd met privately with Pope Leo XIV last Friday during a four-day trip to discuss how Catholic universities can serve the Church. He presented the Pope with a sculpture of St. John Henry Newman and left the meeting with the Pope’s blessing for continued efforts.  WNDU
  • Following the killing of founder Charlie Kirk, Indiana students joined Turning Point USA to engage in civil political discussions on campus—chapters at Purdue, IU Bloomington and IU Indianapolis have seen membership triple and are planning more events to promote free speech and balanced debate.   • Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love scored a 56-yard touchdown with a spin move that helped his team win 37-15 over Pittsburgh on Saturday. He finished the game with 147 yards and 14 touchdowns for the season—fans praised his move and said it improved his chance at the Heisman Trophy.  South Bend Tribune
  • Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman said wide receiver Jaden Greathouse will miss the remaining regular season games to preserve his eligibility while he recovers from a hamstring/thigh injury—he is expected to return by December for a possible playoff run.
