- ➤ The U93 Radiothon raised funds on Tuesday in an 11-hour event at U93 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana by recruiting monthly donors who pledged $25 to help families at Beacon Children's Hospital. - ➤ South Bend Medical Foundation is asking for urgent blood donations as donor numbers drop during the holiday season — the foundation said O-negative blood is especially needed for emergencies. WNDU
- ➤ The American Heart Association advised using a smaller snow shovel when clearing snow to reduce heavy lifting and lower the risk of heart problems, especially for those over 45.
