  • Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price used his NIL funds to buy Christmas gifts for local children on Friday afternoon at Walmart in Mishawaka as part of the Salvation Army (Angel Tree program). He said his gesture reflects his humble background and desire to spread holiday cheer.  WNDU

  • South Bend Tribune invites residents to submit a vertical video of themselves singing a Christmas carol for a chance to win a $50 grocery gift card. Submissions open 8:00 a.m. ET on Dec. 12 until 5:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 18 — votes run from Dec. 20 to 5:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 27.  South Bend Tribune

  • State troopers are reminding drivers to drive sober this holiday season and will run extra patrols through January 1 to keep roads safe.  WNDU

  • Saint Joseph Health system hosted its 22nd annual Senior Holiday Meal drive today from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Sister Maura Brannick Health Center, giving free ready-to-heat holiday meals to seniors (55 and up) in Mishawaka as local partners lent support.  WNDU

  • Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County (Muffet McGraw Women Build) handed over keys to a new home in Mishawaka on Friday, Dec. 12. The ceremony celebrated a milestone that supports women in achieving homeownership.  WSBT

  • Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love injured his ribs in Friday, Dec. 12's game against Stanford; he said the hit was unintentional and finished with 72 scrimmage yards as his team won 49-20.  South Bend Tribune
  • Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love won the Doak Walker Award on Saturday after rushing for 1,372 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns this season, making him the first from his team to earn the honor (he also received the Disney Spirit Award).  WNDU
  • Jimtown boys basketball, led by coach Ryan Varga & top scorer Will Spurgeon, beat New Prairie 57-38 on Dec. 12, making their season start 3-1. They built momentum with a strong second-quarter run & look to improve further.  South Bend Tribune
