- ➤ The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will distribute boxed and bagged food at 13 drive-through sites during June—food is available on a first-come, first-served basis. - ➤ Food events are scheduled this week in Mishawaka and nearby towns, starting with a food truck lunch at Ball Band Biergarten, 230 Ironworks Ave, on June 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.—a burger night is set for Galien American Legion Post 344 on June 5 from 4 to 8 p.m., and several fish and chicken fry events with varied menus and prices are planned through June 14. - ➤ On Saturday, South Bend area sports teams won state and district titles in lacrosse, baseball, softball and track.
